Uphotogallery, written entirely in ASP/VbScript, allows an easy, flexible integration into any webpage with on-line configuration. Uphotogallery is database driven ( Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server).
Features:
Password protected control system ( Data Encryption System ) Random Images in homepage ( optional ): option to choose the number of images and the max width and height allowed for each image ( automatic resize ). These parameters can be changed modifying only 3 values in the index.asp code page.
Appearance configuration : options to change the gallery title, colors, fonts, font size etc. with a web-based control panel, allowing for integration with your site
Images Archive - THUMBNAILS : options to choose the number of images and the number of the columns per page; option to choose the max weight and height allowed for each image ( automatic resize ). These parameters can be changed through the "Admin Panel".
Multi-language support : the default languages available with Uphotogallery package are "English" and "Italian". If desired, you can easily translate the gallery into your own language. Email configuration : notify via email to the administrator upon the publication of new comment. Uphotogallery supports a wide range of email components : JMAIL, ASPEMAIL, ASPMAIL, CDONTS ( default on Windows 2000 Server; disable on Windows 2003 Server ), CDOSYS ( default on Windows 2000/2003 Server ).
Automatic SLIDESHOW: javascript based, fade effect ( only IE ), option to choose the slideshow delay time. Comments Configuration : option to choose the "max number of characters per comment"; option to allow the "emoticon smilies". Configurable anti-spam settings ( via a Cookie ) : a cookie is set on the users machine to stop them from spamming the gallery with multiple comments. Images Rating: option to vote each image. Will be made a double control, IP and COOKIE based, to stop the users from spamming the gallery with multiple votes.
General Images Configuration : options to choose the "number of images per page", the "number of columns in the thumbnails page", the max images width and height ( these last two parameters are releted to the max dimensions allowed for each image in the thumbnails page ).
Options to allow "image overwriting", "random images in homepage", "images download" and "images lightbox". Images Lightbox : option, for each visitor, to create an images lightbox ( COOKIES based system )
Amend or remove images and comments : option to edit the image item; option to list the images by category; option to view all the data releted to the image file ( file size, file type, date create, date last modify, etc... ).
Categories Management : option to add, delete or amend categories.
Bad Words Management : option to add, delete or amend bad words.
Compact/Repair Database ( Access version ) : running the Compact Database utility allows you to improve the performance of the Access database.
